Antique Stained & Crazed Edwin M. Knowles China Co. Oval Ironstone Serving Platter

Beautifully aged Edwin M. Knowles China Co. oval ironstone serving platter with incredible character and a wonderfully timeworn appearance. The platter has its date right on there! February 1926! The platter features a creamy ivory background with faded floral and decorative detailing around the border and integrated handles on each side.

This piece has extensive crazing throughout, along with warm age-related staining, discoloration, and considerable wear to the original decoration. Its heavily aged finish gives it a gorgeous primitive farmhouse look that would be especially beautiful displayed in a vintage hutch, on a plate stand, or layered with an ironstone collection.
